About Backlot Creations

Backlot Creations, LLC was started in 2026 by founder Ted Johnson. The first product to be released by Backlot Creations will be the YouThink mobile app, a re-launch of the former youthink.com website.

Backlot Creations plans to release a series of products including apps, websites, video and audio content.

Backlot Creations is based in California in the United States and it got its name partly based on the fact that the founder often works out of a converted garage that’s literally at the back of his lot. When Ted named the company he also liked the fact that “Backlot” has a meaning in the film and video world. He also likes that the word “Creations” allows for a variety of products and services.
