The new YouThink app
YouThink is being rebuilt from the ground up as a mobile app for iOS and Android. The heart of it is the same idea that made the original site fun: questions and answers. The difference is the format — quick, swipeable questions you can answer in a tap, with results that show you where you land compared to the rest of the community.
It’s the first product from Backlot Creations, and it’s coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
A little history: youthink.com (2001–2022)
Founder Ted Johnson launched youthink.com in 2001 as a social website where the main action was asking and answering questions. It grew quickly, and along the way it spun off several other businesses — a links section that became I-Am-Bored.com, and a quiz section that became quiztron.com.
As Ted’s other ventures grew, youthink.com became harder to keep up with, and the original site was shut down in 2022. The new YouThink app brings the idea back — this time built for mobile. You can read the full story on the About page.
